Early Goose - Swan Lake area!

I just wondering if anyone from the swan lake area has been seeing any geese in that area? The hunting party I'm with, we hunt north of Nicollet. None of us haven't had a chance to go out scouting yet. So I figured I try on here!

make sure you don't hunt to close to swanny because their is an area closed for the early season and it right around that areaI know you cant hunt from hwy 14 to hwy 5? but I dont know the east west borders

You just can't hunt within 100 yards of Swan and Middle lake. We don't hunt in that area though, we hunt just north of Hwy. 5

Eyefishin-we went out today scouting for almost 2 hours, stayed mostly in the Hanska/Sigel area, lots of cut feilds around, didn't see a single goose though..

On a side note, have you seen any of the flocks coming over town early in the mornings and late in the evenings? Every morning at football practice you seem to hear or see a flock, really makes me want to ditch the pads and hit the feilds, this weekend will be tough to beat though....doves thursday, football game friday, geese saterday, sunday, monday, then that dreaded thing called school on tuesday.....

A lot of the geese I've seen have been in the later part of the morning and just as its pretty much dark out!
