Soriano claimed off waivers by Twins

Lets see if they can get a trade worked out....give em Romero, Lohse, and Mays (maybe someone else). Insert Baker and Liriano into rotation. Soriano is the prefect fit for the Twins..his D might be suspect BUT Mr.Punto (bunto) isnt the best either as noted in the rundown play this afternoon. Boy is Texas sinking fast...Romero would be the perfect fit.

We can't give them Lohse or Romero. Both were already put on waivers, claimed, and them pulled back by the Twins. Mays has cleared though, and I heard rumors the Soriano has been pulled back as well.

Hoping against hope that we can get him. If we do, watch out! They're still gonna want Liriano though, and there is no way we will give him up.

Probably just claimed him to block others from getting him. It is done all the time.

Even without him, I really like our chances at the wild card the way we are playing.
