Leech shortage in Canada?

A coworker is going to Canada on a fly-in next week and the outfitter told them he is out of leeches and won't be getting anymore. Is this an isolated deal, seasonal, etc?

This group will be traveling into Canada via Fort Frances. Leeches available for purchase there? They want to buy a lot!

Leaches are hard to get later in the summer. You could phone Rainy Lake Sports in Fort Frances and ask Mark if he can hold some for you. They are the main bait dealer in Fort Frances the phone # is 807 274 6429
