I just sat down and thought about the day today. A little rain, drizzle, sun, clouds, more drizzle, more sun, more clouds and everything in between. Could a muskie angle ask for anyting else. Of course I was busy all day. Anyone have reports for central Minnesota?

Thanks in advance for responses.

Was out fishing with a fellow FM'er and about 20 feet away, I asked if they had any luck and as the was telling me he had a musky already, BOOM! He hooks what looks like a 50+ inch Musky!!! I was so jealous because I have not hooked any muskies this year!! mad.gif I did lend them my net to land the muskie though grin.gif Who ever he is, I hope he is an FM'er grin.gif

A buddy and I fished DL(Becker County) and the fish were very active. Super hot followes and a few missed strikes. My buddy was using a top water and reeled it in without doing an 8 or even an large L and when he removed the bait, a mid 40s ski jumped complete out of the water about a foot from the boat...I almost fell out of the boat. We did get one nice ski after dark on top water...low 40s but chunky.

My partner and I boated 4 fish on tuesday and thurday including a 50.5". There should have been at least 6 muskies in the boat if it were not for a poor hookset and few short strikes. The fish were very active after the storms on Tuesday as well as Thursday during the rain. Hope everyone else had some luck as well
