eyepatrol
....and the hits just keep on coming!!! C'mon...that was just agressive racing...right? That was a shame to see Jr. taken out like that. Even though he didn't have a good car, I was really hoping that he and Gordo would get into the chase. Just wouldn't be the same without both of them in, IMO. Tough day for the 48 team. Only "good" thing about that is it tightens things up, but only a little. Looked like he was a little dazed and confused in his TV interview. Chad sure didn't want anybody speaking to Jimmy (or even looking at him it seemed) after he got out of the car. Oh well, on to the next race! Guest
Jr is all done for the run for the final ten.Gordon still has a outside chance, but will probably need help from the 8-9-10 spots.Probably cant do it on his own anymore.Your right ,they didnt want anyone by Jimmy, but that might been due to the fact that it was hot and he look shot.Stewart is hot at the right time of the year and is a real threat for winning it all,but you still need to run good and have alot of luck, cant have any DNFs. eyepatrol
Stewart is DEFINITELY the hot rod out there right now. If I were Stewart or a Stewart fan though, I'd be a little cautious of getting pumped up this early yet. I wouldn't want my driver peaking at the wrong time of year. He's definitely stealing the show right now, but the toughest part will be maintaining his hot streak through the 10-race chase. Ya gotta give the guy and his team credit though, they are on fire right now.
JohnMickish
Gordon is less than 100 points out of 9th place so his year is not over, by a long shot. Heck, he stands a good chance on picking up 100 points this weekend alone, providing he dosen't have tranny trouble again.
Sifty
Stewart really has the hot hand now.Hopefully it will last for the rest of the season. The 24 just has to stay out of trouble and he should make the chase. There is a good chance at a win for him this weekend but also tony does well on the road course's.Sifty
