Hi guys,
Wondering what people think about the Marcum LX-I. It would be my first electronic (other than my hand one), and a local store has them on sale right now for $250. Budget is an issue for me. Wondering how the batery charger is, etc, accuracy, your field experiences, etc. Thanks everyone. haaad

1str i am not framilar with the Lx1 .. i have the Lx3 and love it . here is what i would do if i was you .. wait a bit if you can . search all the sporting shops on the net . be it Marine General in Duluth or Thorne bros in Mpls. i did this close to this time of year last year and got the Lx3 for $312. Thorne Bros Matched the price i seen for Marine General on sale . food for thought

Yeah, I know they will go down even more in another month. But my "itch" to get out with one today, tomorrow and Sunday is getting to be too much. Last March I got a two-man portable at Gander for $126, normally $360! Another problem is that stores here in the twin cities sell out of certain sale items, like they are starting to do now.

You will love the LX-1! Its the same as the LX-3 but without the zoom feature. If your on a tight budget thats what I would go with.
