I did the same thing a few years ago, the U bolt wasn't tight enough and one wheel hooked the apron as I was coming out of the landing. It sheared of the centering pin and slid that side back about three inches. Easy fix, but put some serious wear on the tires.

I know how ya feel brother. Last weekend I replaced my dead outboard. Two nights before I picked up the motor my trolling motor died, the day before that the pin that holds the trolling motor down busted loose so I had to use some creative engineering to keep it down. Now last night, the first time taking it out with the new motor, my depth finder started blanking out on me. One more thing goes wrong I am going to have a boat burning party and you can come.

Thanks for the info i will consider your invitation. I finally figured it out though. The main screws that hold the hwole left tire/fender assembly came loose and the hole thing shifted on me. Fixed it today in the rain cause tourney is tommorow. replaced the board that the outborad mounts onto on the back of the transom too. A little happier, but i guess u can say im waiting for the next thing to go wrong......... crazy.gif

Oh, one more thing - I backed the boat in last night and in all the excitement of having a running motor I didn't see the importance of putting the plug in the boat. I started pulling the trailer out when I realized what I did so I ran back to the boat and dove in from the dock. I then proceeded to bust the back seat completely off with all 250 pounds of my fat butt diving for the plug.

OMG!!!!!!!!! talk about stuff going wrong i feel sorry for u!!!!!!! the thing with my stuff is that its all old so naturally it breaks on me, but for the most part its quality stuff so after i get it fixed it usually lasts unless i get a stroke of bad luck though!!!!!!!! still having that boat burn?
