Cleaning old lures

I think it's been asked before, but I can't find it...

My dad has a tackle box full of old lures. Some of them have white powder (corrosion?) on them. What can I use to clean them?

All I did with mine was use water and wipe it lightly, seemed to work on mine. Hope this helps you, Mike.
