0 Whoaru99
I have two Eagles, both seemed to get the job done. The first is still working but it is only 128 vertical pixels. I gave in to upgraditis and got a new one a year or two ago with more resolution (320 pixels).Have never used the other brands, so mine is kind of a lop-sided opinion... 0 Fisher Dave
I stay away from humminbird.. have had issues with them in the past, and I have not been pleased with their products that I owned in the past.Eagle/Lowrance has some decent units out there in the price range you are looking at. If you fit another $50 into your budget there is a new Eagle (cuda??) 240 that came out not long ago that is a graph/GPS in one with speed and temp. The gps reciever(antenna) is internal so there is no extra antenna needed.. That is really hard to beat for around $200. They are blue in color if you are shopping around and see one... check it out. 0 TSCTSC
Depends on your needs actually. If you plan to fish big water and the big lakes, I would definitely recommend the LMS 332 c. If not, a LMS 68c would be enough. Of course these cost more, but I think these are money very well spent.

0 Crankin619
Well in that price range I think you could find a Garmin 240. I have one in the bow of my boat and suprisingly it is pretty good at picking up fish. I know Eagle is also made and owned by Lowrance so you can't go wrong there either. Just try and find the one with most virtical pixels for the money.
