Sabotage? You forgot to mention gambling and M-80's and confidence and cowardice and the deep end and everything else we discussed already. This "thread" kind of reminds me of that story about the guy that goes out of town and when he returns asks a simple question:

"Anything happen while I was gone"?

His friend says, "not really, but the dog died",

so of course he asks "how did the dog die"

and his friend says "ate the dead horse meat and died"

and the guy asks "how'd the horse die"

and his friend says "the barn burned down, horse died, dog ate the meat and died"

"how'd the barn burn down?"

"sparks from the house caught the barn, horse died, dog ate the meat and died"

"sparks from the house?"

"yep, flames from the drapes went up to the roof and sparks from the roof caught the barn and the horse died and the dog ate the meat and died"

"how'd the drapes catch fire"

"candles tipped over, caught the drapes, went up to the roof, sparks from the roof caught the barn, barn burned down, horse died, dog ate the meat and died"

"candles? we've got electicity"

"we put candles by the coffin, the candles tipped over, caught the drapes, flames from the drapes caught the roof, sparks from the roof caught the barn, barn burned down, horse died, dog ate the meat and died"

"coffin?"

"oh yeah, your mother-in-law died too"
