Slow muskie fishing?

I know this has been the worst first month of muskie fishing for me. Other than fishing the Chipp Falls/EC area, I just got back from Mille Lacs in MN and Deer in WI. The total for 15,893 miles trolled and 438 bazillion casts is one 32" muskie Hope the rest of you muskie guys have been doing better. At least it can only get better for me - I hope.

Been a weird year all around the mid-west. Some people are having success, but I think for the most part it is a slow bite for musky fisherman. Through our brunt of cold weather and front after front moving through, will make for tough fishing.

The fish seem to be turning on a bit now though from reports. Stick with it!! Oh the joys of musky fishing.
