HAS THIS HAPPENED TO ANY OF YOU?......

WE WENT TO CANADA MUSKY FISHING THIS WEEKEND. WE WERE ON CLIFF LAKE NORTH OF VERMILLION BAY. I WAS CASTING A BLACK BENT SHAFT SPINNER. A SMALL MUSKY HIT IT. AS I GOT THE SKI ABOUT 2 FEET FROM THE BOAT ANOTHER SKI (OF GREATER LENTH AND WEIGHT) GRABS HOLD OF HIS MID-SECTION. WOW! SO FOR ABOUT A MINUTE AND A HALF TO 2 MINUTES I AM FIGHTING 2 FISH. WHEN HE LET GO HE CAME AFTER IT AGAIN AND MISSED. THE SMALLER ONE WAS 24" LONG. THE BIG GUY WAS AT LEAST DOUBLED IN LENTH.

MORAL OF THE STORY...JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE 2 FEET LONG DOESN'T MEAN YOU ARE SAFE!!!

Was reeling in a small eye and just as we were going to net it the water exploded and a huge muskie hit the eye and took it.I opened up the bail and let it go and approx 10 seconds later set the hook and the fish was there for about half the retrieve and then i ended up with part of a 20 inch eye,at least the muskie had supper.

MUSKY BRIAN WE HAD OK LUCK. THERE WAS 4 OF US AND I THINK WE CAUGHT 7 SKIS. FROM 24" UP TO 42". MOST OF THEM WERE CAUGHT ON SMALL BASS SPINNERBAITS. WE HAD SOME 50" FISH FOLLOW BUT NO TAKERS. JUST SOUTH OF CLIFF LAKE WE HAD THE BEST LUCK. THERE ARE 3 LAKES THAT JOIN EACH OTHER. WE CAUGHT 4 WALLEYES WORKING THE SHORE WITH BASS SPINNER BAITS. WIERD!! ALSO CAUGHT SOME NICE SMALLIES AND A 20 POUND PLUS SNAPPING TURTLE WITH A SUCKER MINNOW.

Yesss, you were on Mystery, Eveing and my Favorite, Twilight Lakes. Twighlight is a great numbers lake, best I have ever seen
