eyepatrol
It appears the teams winning the most this year (Roush and Hendrick) are the two teams with the biggest pockets...or at least some of the biggest pockets. I've read a number of posts on this forum since joining, and what I've heard pretty consitently is that big money wins races. So, with that being said, here's probably a silly question, but one that's been going through my mind as of late. Does anyone think, with NASCAR wanting there to be parity in the sport, that they will ever put a "salary cap" on the amount of money a team can spend in a given year, as like football?Just curious about that and what your guys' thoughts are. JohnMickish
It's all been tried so I don't think it would work. The one engine rule was supposed to fix that too. How do you limit someones engineering skills? They have adjusted the testing rules for that purpose too.I'd like to see them limit the number of tires like they do in the Busch series. eyepatrol
Yeah, I think that would be an idea too. Do you think though, if they limit the number of tires for a race, that GoodYear would have to come up with a more durable tire, being that there seems to be a bit of a tire issue/debate going on right now?
