I've been running into more and more people that are saying that nobody will fill there propane tanks equipped with the Weber grill quick disconnect style valve. I was curious to see if any of you are having the same problem.
I think the problem is, at least in our area, is somebody got hurt filling one of these at a super chain gas station in america and the big shots decided to make it there policy not to fill them. As word travels down through employees it changes from company policy to against the law.
I have called our supplier to check on this and was told that as long as the tank is in good condition, and the valve is OPD compliant, its o.k. to fill them. So for now, if you do own one of these, it is O.k. to have them filled.
