directions to pierre

We are leaving today for Pierre to fish the Missouri with my brother-in-law. Had a blast filling our limits every day last year. Can anyone tell me if it is faster to take Hwy 212 from the Twin Cities or to shoot down on I 90 and then cut across to Pierre. Thanks.

Yep, 212 all the way through Redfield 20 miles. Take 45 South to Miller, hang a right on 14 and your there. Don't take 281 south out of Redfield. I believe that still might be under contruction.

According to MSN maps, it is quicker to go down to I-90 and take that across.

I-90 was actually about a 1/2 hour quicker on the way back vs. hwy 212. We fished in the Akaska area of Lake Oahe and did very well. Filled out every day with some nice fish.
