PierBridge
Yes your looking at the E-trex line the yellow one is about $100.The E-trex line is okay,I still have my Garmin III plus nice hand held unit someone was selling a used one in good shape for like $125 I'll see if it's still for sale. IN my opinion it's a lot better then the E-trex line.
The_Duckslayer
I have an E-trex, the yellow one only in the camo model. It always gets me back to where I started... I have used it to plot waypoints in the middle of the day that I have found for only the second time the next morning at oh-dark-thirty. Mostly trails thru the weeds to get back to a good looking deer spot. Then again, I am the guy that would never spend $150.00 on a fishing rod. Northland Sportsman
I have the garmin e-trex legend. It is not very expensive and does have a few nice options and a base map. I think it is a good unit for the money and worth a look.
fish-n-geek
I picked up the Garmin eMap on clearance for about $80. Great unit for the price. It has a large display and comes with some pretty good maps. I'm sure you can pick one up on the auction sites, but they are discontinued, so you can't buy it "new." -rus-
