I was roaming the shorre on a Carver county lake throwing spinner baits for nothern, and all of sudden it looked to be like a giant log comming my way. This was about in 5 ft of water. It fallowed right up to the boat and veird off. It was the biggest northern I have ever seen in my life. My dad said it was one of the biggest northerns he has ever seen to and he is a gamewarrden.

Andrew are you talking about the Northern you and I saw that one afternoon? When did your dad see it? Or was this the second time you seen it?

I had one, best guess 50", come in after a jitterbug on bass opener a couple years back. It was more curious than anything as it just slowly swam off. Biggest nort I have ever seen. This was over the milfoil on a larger Carver County lake.

I'm kind of glad it didn't hit. I had 6# test mono.
