A friend of mine just bought a a flat bottom with a a bad wooden transom. I know this has been covered several times but I can't find the thread. Where can a guy buy or order the marine, mushroom-type rivets?

Make sure he doesn't use green treated wood repairing the transom. The ACQ preasure treated that replaced CCA preasure treated 18 months ago can only come in contact with stainless steel or double dipped hot galvanized steel. The reaction with aluminum is extremely bad. It will eat holes in it eventually.
