GoodToGo
I have a 2000 Polaris 325 Magnum 4x4. I had an oil line fitting come apart in 2002(?). This was a recall item, it was repaired/replaced with a different style fitting by a dealer. It is now leaking again. Is there a better aftermarket option for oil lines/fittings? Or should I just get another factory oil line?
Dave
GTG, where is the line leaking? In the online parts manual it looks like mostly hose clamps holding the lines to any oil tubes. Are those tight?
GoodToGo
Its leaking from the fitting, but the factory replacement fitting is not a barb/hose clamp style. I'll have to look at it closer tonight to describe it.
GoodToGo
The the fitting is a crimped on brass coupler that connects to a metal tube about 2" long, which ends in another similar coupler which looks like its a threaded or compression fitting to the engine. The leak is between the steel tube and the first coupler. I don't see anything to tighten.
