Riverratpete
Is it just me or did it seem that Northern Minnesota no longer have any good walleye fishing as told by the Star on last Sundays article?. I think it's hilarious that now all the good fishing water is either west or south west which is just fine with me...gotta love the Dept of Tourism/Commerce in this state though,I'm surprised they haven't changed the weather forecast for the weekend yet. lol
Eric Wettschreck
I live and fish in SW MN. Although we have good fishing here it just doesn't compare to the "Up-nort" lakes I've been to. The weather will change. Every 5 minutes it will become more windy.
Kab Dreamin
I am always pretty amazed that Rainy, LOW, Kabetogama, Namakan, etc. never get mentioned. The DNR reports read like a dream.
guideman
I guess they are trying to spread the wealth out a little. The walleye fishing up north has never been better as far as I know. The walleye numbers on the Big V are the highest in history and Rainy and the rest of the boundry area lakes, have some of the best walleye fishing anywhere in the USA.
