Walleye Opener this Saturday..

Fished the Mohawk and the water was already down, not a good sign and caught just one 17" early Sunday morning.

Fished the Mohawk early wee hours of the morning till sun up and caught two keeper walleyes 16" and 17" a couple small northerns and a rock bass. The water is way down below the dam.

Mostly male eyes were caught this weekend in the creek white buck tail jigs. A buddy of mine and his brother caught there limits both Saturday and Sunday. I'll try to get out there this weekend hopefully they will still be in there thick.

Walleyes weren't there yesterday but did catch and release a few nice fighting smallies.
