A boat that old is usualy worth about what the motor and trailer are worth combined.. there are a few exceptions that are worth a little more, but it would have to be in pretty nice shape in and out.

if i had a 66 foot boat with a 40 hp motor it would go about 1 mile per hour. does anyone know about how much my old rig is worth, i have alot of medical bills and i could really use the money.

I don't know any of you guys, but I think Ralph is trying to be helpful. 66' means 66 feet, '66 means 1966. Not trying to stir the pot, but I think most of us were confused by your original post.

old star ... is the motor in the same year class as the boat, or is it more modern than the boat (70's/80's).

Many of the people here are very informative .. I'm sure a very good ball park price would come up if we had a little more information. The more accurate the information, the more accurate the estimates should be.

I wish my grandfather, or father was still around so I could take them out in the boat... I used to get my father out all the time, and I think it was the highlight of his later years.
