I heard of one guy on Saturday evening catching his limit at the reservation dam. Guys in boats did down right terrible this last weekend. The best fishing I've heard of was from shore but even that was slow because of the weather hopfully this weekend will be better sounds like a better forecast. I did witness a guy in a boat catching 3 eye's sitting off an undisclosed rock point anchored chucking a jig and minnow into shore sitting in about 8-9 foot of water. There's also the MWC tournament out on Traverse this Saturday so there is going to be alot of boats around. Other than that little bit of info I haven't heard of anything but if I do I'll keep you posted.

I was wondering if anybody had been on Traverse this past weekend. We are driving in from MO. on Saturday and are trying to decide between Big Stone and Traverse. Any and all help would be appreciated since we have never been to Traverse.

I caught a 28",two 19"ers, and a 13" memorial weekend, in about 8 hours of total fishing time scattered over two days.

The water was very stirred up from all of the wind. spinner minnow or crawler for me. My relatives all used raps in their boats and got nothing. Going out tonight for the weekend, good luck.

I have heard a couple reports and they all have been good nice nice fish being caught in relativley shallow water were talking 3-6 feet. Presentation has been crawler harness on a bottom bouncer or no snag sinker trolling about .5-.8 mph really really slow. I haven't heard of anybody catching anything pulling cranks it's all been eihter harnesses or lindy rigs worked slowly. There has been a few fish caught by the county park from shore later in the evening with a slip float but it seems the fish aren't where they usually are this time of year. I fish alot south of the county park from shore and we've always done good there early int eh season and we've only caught 3 walleyes all year. Mostly what were getting now is bullheads, silver bass, or northerns which is fine by me cause i'd rather eat a northern than a walleye anyday. I know not to many agree with me on this one but if you can ge the Y bones out there's not a better eating fish. ANyway that's what I've been hearing. Some people also have been geting some from shore by the reservation dam on both sides not just the lake side. If I hear of anything else I'll post it.
