Matt Johnson
Our very own, FM Pro Staffer Corey Bechtold and his partner Jason Martin spent the weekend out on Lake Sharpe, one of South Dakota's many fine fishing lakes in search of walleyes for the 25th West Bend Walleye Classic. Competing against 41 other boats, they fought through less-than admirable conditions, including snow and wind. After coming in at 10th place for day 1, Corey and Jason overcame the elements to finish with the 1st place win after an exciting 2nd day. They finished the 2-day tournament with a 10 fish limit that weighed a total of 14.56 pounds and were also awarded Big Fish for day 2 with a 1.98 pound walleye. Congrats to Corey and Jason for the 1st place finish! Good Fishin, Matt Johnson
