and the question is -- right now i have a x87 on the dash of my boat, i want to put that on my trolling moter and get a 332 for my dash. would the cables and transducer for the x87 be interchangable with the 332. meaning could i use the cables and trnsducer thats allready there and just plug in the 332 , except the antenae of course and use the 332's stuff up front on the x87 . that would make things way easier !

I doubt it. I tried that going from a x45 to x67c and it doesnt work. This way you have to spend more money with them. Them greedy __________.

G-Man, the 332 uses the new blue digital signal cables, whereas your old unit has the standard grey connectors. The 332 would probably not pick up the temp readings with the old cables hooked up to it. It will however read the depth just fine. GL-Satchmo
