Spawning

Have the walleyes spawned out yet that everyone is catching?

I would have to say the spawn is going on right now. The males are milking. I have not caught a female around here this week, but out at Lake Sharpe the majority of the females had fat bellies. Most of the sauger were spawned out already.

Please let the females go this early in the spring, our future depends on it.

On Saturday I caught a bunch of males. All of which were milking. One 24" female that was completely spawned out.

Temps at this lake were 55 degrees according to my graph.
