setterguy
I just found out that we had a work trailer stolen from our office, it must have happened sometime last night (4/8/05). It was stolen from an office in Blaine MN. Description: 6x12 enclosed trailer, blue in color with Rainman Irrigation in white lettereing on both sides and the back. I'm sure the lettering is gone by now, but I would guess that you could still see the outline, unless its been painted. Inside was misc tools and equiptment for underground sprinkler systems. If you see a new trailer in the neighborhood, or hear of anyone trying to get rid of one I would sure like to know about it. Thanks for the open eyes and ears. My contact infoJustin Novatney651-248-0155 or you can contact the Blaine police dept. at 763-785-6168.
Lost
Other than the markings mentioned, is there some sort of other noticeable markings?
BDR
There has been a burst of these trailer thefts in the N Metro. I know of 3 others that were taken near fleet farm. Bummer. Sorry to this Setterguy.
river-rat4
SG-Sorry to here about the theft. It seems to be more common in recent years. In 2003, I had a trailer stolen from the Blaine area. I had a tongue lock and a cable through the axel, both gone. The cops found the trailer on Olive Street in St. Paul(recovered in good condition), hollowed out. It seems that they didn't want the trailer, just the contents. Also was broken into in a parking lot in Wyoming, MN in 2004; they just took tools and supplies that time. I hope that you recover your trailer, it also seems to be more frequent when school is out(sad).Good luck- RR4
setterguy
Lost, I don't think there were any real distinguishing markings, it was only a couple of years old and in pretty good shape. I kind of figured the trailer might show up again, there really isn't anything in there of value to anyone besides me. Unless there is a big black market for irrigaition supplies. Thanks for keeping a lookout.
