Handheld GPS and Lakemaster MMC?

Does anyone use a handheld GPS that can use the lakemaster MMC? In my boat I use them with my X15. I'd really like to use them on the ice. I know they have a compatibility listing but I'd like to hear some first hand experience.

Lowrance is coming out with the I-finder PRO in a couple weeks supposidly. This unit I am told is the only unit that will work with the Navionics reelbottom chips. Hope they work good.
