Wild Thing
Hey, folks, Anyone out there ever pattern ice our crappies on Lake of the Woods? I'm thinking there must be some decent fishing near Miles or Hay, but where do they go? In most places at ice out they go shallow to feed, but I've never fished them up there at this time. Any tips? I'm thinking we'll be in boats on the Canada side by the end of the month!!!
LOW Lover
I would think that if a guy were to try back in Stevens Bay (towards Crow), that one may have some good fishing. We were back there mid March and the crappie fishing was fantastic. Lots of fish, primarily males that were in the 11-13 inch range. We would have loved to find the school of the big female crappies!!LOW
