I'd go on the gunnel in front of your console, as long as it doesn't interfer with anything like a trolling motor, rod holder, or cleat. Try to stay 3 feet away from other antennas or electronics if you can.

"3 Feet from other electronics"....I was going to put my antenna next to the graph. Tucked away so that no one could step on it- yet easily accessible (360 degrees) to the air up there cool.gif

I don't have gunnel's on my boat, so where would you recommend that I put mine if I'm not suppose to put it next to electronics??

Mine is about 12" from 2 graphs on my councel under the windshield and I can also get mine running in my garage no problem. If you do mount it on the bow make sure anchor ropes or feet arent going to brake it. I have also seeen guys mount them in the back corner of the boat away from everything.
