Cabelas Boat Covers or Alternatives

I need some experiences or expert advice. Looking to buy a boat cover, does anyone have any experience with Cabelas brand boat covers. Or do you know of any good alternatives? Looking to spend around $200 or so. Open for suggestions.

Iam no expert by any stretch,but I do own a Cabelas boat cover,the ratchet type with the 7 year warranty.I have had this cover for three years and there is no sign of wear at all. all the ratchets still work great,the canvas is in great shape with no signs of tears or rotting.I would buy another for sure,seems to be a quality piece.Price was around 225.00.

That is the one I am looking at.

7-year warranty, ratcheting, pic shows a tan color, maybe beige. They say it is their top seller.

I don't have that model, but did buy a Cabelas cover about 7 years ago, I think it was a cheaper one than what you are looking at. I don't use it a ton, but it did spend a few winters outside under cover. It has been fine, no quality issues at all.

Cabelas boat covers are awesome. Worth the money, but, about this time last year I was able to buy one on their sidewalk sale for only $50. Keep that in mind because I think they do that every year.

I also bought a Cabela's cover at their tent sale for cheap. It was down to 50 from 180, then they announced 50% off that and when I checked out it was another 50% off.

So $12.50 and all the straps were included after a little searching in the general vicinity.

Tent sale is usually the 3rd or 4th weekend in June.

I purchased the Cabelas Trail Pro II 2 years ago and it is an awesome cover! It's very sturdy, clips together fast, and tows behind the car nicely(as long as the loose straps are tied down) I would highly recommend this cover!

If your boat is 19ft and larger I have some original Lund covers for very little money.
