Zercom CC usage tips

One of the drawbacks of using my Zercomm CC is unless it is shaded well I sometimes have a hard time seeing it well. Anyone have any suggestions for this or other help getting the most from my CC. Thanks.

Coffee can and spray the inside of it black. Bend if needed.

use half of a saltine cracker box and tape edges from behind. I mounted mine in a portable plastic tool box with the battery. Works pretty well.

use it with the backlight on all the time--not just in the dark. seems to make it easier for me to see mine..
