I have 2 of them. They do have GPS , but they are older units and they do not accept the new mapping technology. They are good units and they do work well, but definitely outdated technology.

I've had one for a about 5 years. The units are great with regard to speed, temp, show fish and structure well and have the gps. They have a "large" gps receiver antenna for lack of a better term, current units would be much smaller and probably built in. I lost a boat in a traffic accident last year but removed all my gear before the insurance company took it. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to sell the unit or mount it in my new boat because it has some electronics that came with it, but I'd sure like a mapping gps. About the only thing I really don'tm like about the unit is that on a dark night, the screen is so bright that it makes it difficult for me to both read the graph and see to drive the boat. Also, color would be nice but far from necessary.

Like Chuck, I also have 2 of them on my boat. back in the day, these were the top-of-the-top as far as units go. I still love mine, they show very good detail as far as marking fish and the bottom and will probably use them until they die. No use in upgrading when what you have works right? I have a stand alone GPS unit that I use for my waypoints and mapping, so I do not use the LMS 350a's gps functions.
