Good Trout Streams

Does anybody know of any good trout streams in and around Stearns County. I know there is Big Watab and the Quarry's for lakes, but are there any good streams.

There are a couple, but nothing like the SE MN. One near Cold Spring I believe is a brook trout steam. Try posting on the St. Cloud site. I would suggest flyfishing for other species. I'm personally hooked on spot fishing for carp on the fly. I've also got northerns, walleyes, sunnies, bass, etc, and even a bullhead on the flyrod. This summer's goal is a catfish on the fly. Try the Mississippi for smallies, it's a blast with the fly rod.

I have fished trout in Stearns County. It is not nearly as good as SE MN ( I fish here alot because I live in Rochester), and NE MN either I'd imagine. If you go to the Saint Cloud fourm, I have posted a link to the DNR HSOforum which contains steam names, possible areas to get on those streams, and fish survey information from trout streams in Stearns county.
