Bass Tourneys this Summer

Bass Anglers,

Looking for some information on Bass Tourneys this summer. Last summer my son did the Gander Mountain Pro Am and had a great time. However, this summer Gander decided not to do the tourney, so I am looking for an alternative venue for him. We have talked about the Everstart but feel that he needs another year or two before he makes that jump. I know of the Performance Promotion doing a Minnesota Pro/Am this summer. I know that the owner of that company ran the Gander Mountain Tourney, some anglers were not pleased on how that tourney was handled last summer. Any information or feedback would be appreciated.

Check out ClassicBass.com. They list just about all the

tournament circuits available in Mn. Not all are Pro-am.

The Angler Elite and Silverado are probably the two big ones. I have fished most of them and while they are not

run perfectly and everyone has their own opinion, they are

still are great learning enviroment for someone just starting out.

LOWLover- Elite Anglers is the old Gander Moutain tournament it is still a Pro/Am format.

Thanks for all the good information. I talked to John Hesse about the Anglers Elite and he said there were about 30-35 pros signed up as of Wednesday. He said that was the same amount as last year at this time. He thought that they would still reach that 100 mark or so.
