Pete Riola
Hi Kaz, I own one. You can get one at www.tacklecity.com. These augers are light and fast. They do need a bit of break in time but they eat ice.
Kaz
Pete: I went to the web site you have for Tackle City, but I need only the 7" Auger. I tried the phone number listed on the page, but that was Fishing Minneasota's line. Is "Tackle City" a retail operation or just a "One Line" outlet, or do they have a place you can go to an see what you are getting???? Thanks Kaz
Pete Riola
I got mine on line I don't know where you can get one around here. The deal is they are fast and light. Once warmed up they cut like a demon. The down side is since nobody carries tham around here when you need a new blade you can't just go to the bait shop and get one. I'd vouch for the performance. I have an 8 inch

Kaz
Rick: Do you know if I can you buy the head only from them??? I got mine several years ago in Finland when I was over there on business, but the head needs sharping. Nobody around here knows how to hollow grind for resharpen the blade. When I talked to the rep at the Ice Show at the Energy Center, he advised that the head only could be purchased and then they had a excange policy for resharping. I would buy the hand auger complete if necessary, but I didn't see that option on there page.. Do they have a phone number so I could talk to them..I called JP at Nils and talked to him but he didn't now of a dealer here in town. He suggested I call his rep at CSI in Little Falls but that didn't get me very far as the person I talked couldn't help me with a dealer either... I really don't want a gas model inside the house and the hand auger was just as fast. And it reopened the holes with ease... You have my "E" in the file and I'd appreciate any leads you have...
