South Metro Bass Club Looking for New Members

We are a new club with approx. 16 members. We're looking to grow and need new boaters and non-boaters alike. We fished 6 local tourneys and 1 out of town weekend tourney last year. We are not BASS Federated, and the local tourneys have all been on Sundays. What lakes are you fishing. I would most likely be a non boater. Fees?

We have not picked lakes for this summer or the dates yet. We will be doing that at our next meeting in April. We do metro lakes, with one trip to Alexandria. It's a fun club to fish with, no one get's overly serious. We are fishing for bragging rights and the overall competition. We can use both boaters and non-boaters. We range from some smaller baots to Rangers, oh, ya, and one Champion, we won't hold that against tubejigger tho!! Any questions or comments, email any one of the contacts listed.

Our next meeting, tentatively, is scheduled for the 2nd Tuesday of April, 7pm, at the Gander Mountain in Lakeville. We will meet in the "lodge". There will likely be several other new potential members along with most of the incumbents. Again, its a really fun club...2005 will be our third year and we hope to have a few more "good hooks" join this year.

And there are 2 Champions in the club. Just b/c one is old and ugly, doesn't mean it has to be forgotten!!!

Thank God for that. As I recall, the two boats that ended up at the shop during our weekend outing were two Rangers. The two that didn't have problems were the two Champions!
