Perch and Bowl Lakes?

I was wondering were to start looking for jumbo perch in small bowl lakes that are pretty shallow? Want to try some small secluded lakes during spring break but want to go with a game plan. Any info would be great.

Dragon, our cabin is on two small lakes. The one lake I have the best perch fishing on is very small, about 300 yards wide and 1/3 mile long, it is 22' deep at the deepest and an oblong bowl lake. I generally fish 18' plus and I drill a half dozen holes and start jigging any type of flashy spoon, that usually brings them in and then I switch to minnow heads or waxies. I've even used my aquaview camera to bring them in, I just raise it up and down pretty violently and they come in. You'll need to move around if they don't come in at first. I've really never heard of anyone saying they use this technique but I've done it for years. Two weeks ago my 6 year old and I caught 35 perch in less than an hour doing this, they weren't on the vex and I started flashing a swedish pimple and they came in a few minutes later.
