I can't wait for this snow to melt so we can start pounding some snows up here in MN.

We hunted them last week in MO, it was OK not huge numbers but good enough to keep me happy.

I also shot a double banded snow on my first pull of the trigger, my first band ever since I started hunting 14 years ago. It is going to look nice on the wall. I already have the spot picked out for it.

SD is seeing snow already so it shouldn't be long now.

Can't wait, I have the fever to hunt.

I have the fever to!!!! 8 of us are heading to SD around March 18th or the weekend of March 26th for our annual week hunt. Our gear is ready to load at a moments notice but my gut feeling is those are the weekends that things will happen in Central SD.

we're hopefully gonna try an extreme SW MN hunt from the 12th-13th...our spring break is next week and since we aren't going anywhere warm, we figure we'll just experience a good ol' MN spring break. Starting the break out with a trip to the Grand Rapids area this weekend for a little snowmobiling (my buddy has a cabin up there), mixin' in a little ice fishing next week, and then rounding 'er out with a snow goose hunt. If anyone has any tips for a MN snowgoose hunter just wanting a shot at a white (or blue) bird, please post up as you see fit. This would include things such as "saw a group of about 100 birds sitting on Lake X this morning"....that type of thing.

Thanks a lot,

SA/wdw
