trout/steelhead streams in WI

Planning on getting a WI license this year...love to explore new waters! Anyone know of any decent streams...I should add I'm thinking of great lakes streams. I used to fish the Kinni and the willow...been there done that. Also what's better Superior streams or lake Mich? Thanks oin advance for any info.

although the Brule in WI is very good water, there are more and bigger fish on the Lake Michigan side of the state.

Michigan streams get bigger run and bigger trout and salmon then Lake Superior streams, but that's not to say that Lake Superior stream don't have big lake runs of trout and a few hogs mixed in.

in my opinion, lake superior streams are also more secluded and include much better scenery.

I imagine that those good steelead streams on lake michigan would also have a large populations of fisherman. These streams dont have to be lake run trout only...I like chasing those little guys too. the remoteness of lake superior streams are appealing...I love the north shore scenery..are WI's streams about the same as MN's?

Northern Wisconsin streams are longer then streams found on the North Shore.

Thanks alot!!! Looking at those pics only made my already dangerous trout fever worse...thanks!! It looks beautiful. Are there any good falls on these rivers?

No, no falls. The river up there run like that all the way to the lake.
