I would like to try building a rod or two for myself, does anyone know of any classes around the metro?

Thorne Brothers is it as far as I know. I started building rods this winter and their are a couple of good books on the subject and video's. It's fairly easy to pick up on your own.

Check the local continueing adult education you see that come up on a frequent basis, and also you can do some digging on rod-building dot org, it is good site with a wealth of knowledge, kinda like this one

Be cautious tho it is addicting

Continueing Ed. in Duluth had a class at Woodland JR. High about 2 years ago. Im not sure if they still do. Its something I may get into. Let us know what you find out.
