Feds vs Local Game Wardens

When you get checked by a warden the best thing you can do is answer their basic questions truthfully. If they start to get frustrated and pushy quit answering. Tell them to either write you a ticket or leave and let you enjoy the rest of your hunt. I've been chekced both ways before and have no problem if questioned in a professional manner. Other times I have questioned and the only way to describe it is harassment.

That is a good opinion. I am still a little hot about how "professional" these guys were. And yes I know they were Feds. I just needed to get this out of my system thanks for all the posts.

Just wondering, but how do you know? What color uniforms?

They told us up front that they were federal wardens brought in because of the special goose season. Since there are so many hunters I guess they needed special forces. Also they had the Federal Wildlife Officers Association patch. Badge with Federal Officer on it.
