rardijoh
I am looking to buy 2 spinning combos and one baitcaster combo. I Will be using them for walleye fishing. I would like to keep the price around $100 for each one. I haven't fishing in about 5 years but would like to get back into since I have moved back. Any suggestions would be very helpfulthanks
Wayne Ek
Buying combo's is quick and easy, however it sounds like you are willing to spend 300 bucks for the equipment. I would suggest( if you have the time) that first find 2 spinning reels and one casting reel you like. Once you have purchased the reels, then look for rods that fit your need( rigging, jigging, slip float fishing) If you take the time to fit the rods to the reels, you will eliminate pinch points, balance issues and if a rod/reel outfit is comfortable your just going to use it more. HawgTide
The Pflueger President Spinning reel is awesome for about $60. They are available right now in a combo with an IM8 rod for $75 at a certain "warehouse for sportsmans" in Coon Rapids or St Cloud.
Cooter
I'd cruise the Cabelas catalog or site for combos. I really like the Fish Eagle II's. Match one of those with any decent reel and I'm sure you'll be happy with it.
