My sled question

I wrote this in on the main ICE forum, and thought I would try here too. I bought a sled about five years ago to pull my gear on the ice. It is an Otter sled. I assume it's an original, and not an Otter II. It just says Otter on it, with the same logo they have now. I don't know the dimensions, but my Jiffy gas auger fits into it. Does anybody sell skins I can attach to these "old" Otter sleds? What's the difference between the Otter's and Otter II's. I wrote to Otter last year, but never heard back from them. Any info would be great.

I am in the same predicament. I have an older Otter Magnum sled (74" long) and I think it's the same sled you own. I need the Otter "Lodge" skin for my sled.

I talked to a Otter retailer last season and they spoke to an Otter representative that said the Otterskin will fit the older sleds. The only difference was the lip on the sled and some minor differences in the mold.

Just match the dimensions of your sled to the appropriate skin. They did state that there might be some minor differences in the fit, but overall it should work.
