As of the last few summers we have been getting some real nice Muskies out of the river at Crookston.. 19# - 24#... Two weekends ago I held my Ice Buster Daze event here in town and with 85 contestants and 3 hours of fishing we got 8 muskies.. ????/ GO figure... They must be realy doing well here.. barnyard Posted February 9, 2005 Share Posted February 9, 2005 I wonder if those fish are migrating from Pelican and Detroit Lakes.... I believe that those lakes are in the Red River drainage and thought that I read that the DNR was removing barriers between those lakes and the Red to allow Lake Sturgeon to migrate.This is great news.
