father henn st park?

anybody have any reports on how the park is? I am trying to plan a reunion weekend with some college buddies and families and we want something clean and has things for the kids and wives as well as fishing for the boys. I haven't been to ft henn before but was thinking of giving it a try. any comments?

Its been a number of years since i've been there, but it was always a family thing. I honestly can't remember what the ladies did to amuse themselves all day, but we sure got to fish . If i remember correctly, you can leave your boat in the water which makes for a quick getaway in the morning. Good luck to ya.

Fr. Hennepin has a nice picnic area with a shelter. There's a playground by one of the campgrounds. You can send the women into Isle and the small surrounding communities to shop for stuff you don't need at home. I'd advise to make reservations early as it fills up fast.

Nice park, but be sure to lock everything up, things have a habit of walking away there. Never had so much trouble with thieves as we have had at this park.
