Eagle Ultra III Plus

I may have a shot at an Ultra III Plus fairly cheap. Does anyone have input on these. How is the quality of the picture?

I've owned one in the past. I believe the unit is about 10 years old. It was a good unit, the "picture" quality was good. I remember marking and catching a lot of fish with it, if that helps.

I had the same one, and I never had any issues.

For the right price, it sounds like a no brainer.

Moby, I used one for years... it is a really good unit. Just turn off the pac-man fish (fish ID) and run it on the "real time" (fastrack) and adjust your sensitivity and you'll get a true read out. It is actually quite sensitive. My kid used to use it ice fishing 6 years ago. Picked up the jig and fish no problem. Even picked up the jig bouncing on the bottom of the lake in the summer if it was calm out. I think they sell in the neighborhood of $75-100 still, especially if you have the portable pack with them, but I've seen them as low as $40.00 just for the unit.

thanks for the input fellas. The owner is a older dude and said its 4 or 5 years old. He said it has only been used two times.
