Whitewood/ Lake Thompson report

Fished Whitwood Friday morning about 9 to noon. I caught 6 perch around the 10in. size. Fished the rest of the weekend at Lake Thompson on the north end near the heave. Caught a few fish during the night. Day time was slow. Saturday night right at dark was the most action, caught 5 walleyes in a bout a half hour. Most were 15 to 16 inchers. I did not catch any big ones, I had a friend that caught a 6.5lb walleye Friday night (nice fish).

From what I have been hearing Whitewood is picking up again. I have talkked to a few people that have been picking up limits.

I fished Lake Thompson Sun. and part of Monday to try and get in on some of the crappie action, but it seems like that is about over. Managed 6 for the two outings.

my buddy was out on thompson twice this weekend and didn't catch anything. he is a newbie to ice fishing and couldn't find any fish.
