ice fishing or sledding with the family?

Could be a dilemma but I managed to do both today.

My daughter was in tears because of the melting snow but wefound a park that still had good snow for sledding. Took the wife and kids in the morning and had a great time.

I brought along the old runner sled and demonstrated bellywhoppers and piling on as well as making a train.

Not bad for an old fogey! My wife and I made a couple of runs together with in plastic sled. That was great until we lost the sled and we slid on MY butt for about 6 feet.

This is supposed to be a fishing report so here goes. Spent from 4:30 to 7:30 on Lake Ida. It was a beautiful day until sundown then the wind came up followed by fog. No fish as usual either. The lake access was in good shape and I had no problems driving on the lake. All in all, it was a good day!
