Cooter
Just wondering if anyone has used Fred's tinsel tail lures (bucktail) as he is in my Muskies Inc chapter. Also, anyone used the MonsterBow spinners for muskies? Goodness do I have the itch way too early in the year! Shoulda made that trip to Cave Run! guideman
I had the opportunity to fish with the Monsterbow bucktails last summer. The action is pretty sweet and the Pike really ate them up. I had a few skis take a look but no takers so far. I think they will really shine during the early season when Muskies are looking at smaller baits. I didn't get mine until later in the season, so I am looking forward to throwing them more during the post spawn in early June. I replaced the oringinal hooks and split rings to beef them up a little bit. They are built well if your catching pike on them, however I don't know how well they'd hold up to a 30 or 40lb muskie if you use the original hardware. TomWehler
Freds a good dude. Makes quality stuff and has special names for his work. He gave me two or three lures last winter when I did my thing over their for them guys in March. Couple clients used them last year and liked them so much I gave them to them. Good stuff. Give Fred a slap in the belly from Ol Musky T. and hit him up for some FREE stuff. He loves them T-bones!!! Your chapter Leader, Mark is also a quality guy and guide. Pretty good guitar player too. Cooter
Tom, Did you give a seminar at Arizon's last March for Muskies Inc? Can't remember if I was there in March or not. Just saw Shumway last night and we got D. Pearson coming in March. By the way, was accused by Fred for talk'in last night - and he was right
Cooter
Tom,Mark was at the ER in Eau Claire yesterday morning with some serious chest pain. They ran all sorts of test, no heart damage - they are guessing stress/anxiety related problems. He still made the meeting, with his hospital wrist strap and all. I know Fred too well to get any free stuff - shoulda hit him up when I was a newbie.

One reason I spend all the open water season on my Island. Only invited guests to deal with and a few Crows! T.
